About the Practice

Join a busy, well-established private sublease serving the Moreno Valley/Riverside area. This is an excellent opportunity for an OD who enjoys working independently in a streamlined, highly automated practice with the opportunity to expand into dry eye treatments.

📍 Location

Moreno Valley / Riverside, California

🗓 Schedule

• Full-time preferred (4–5 days/week)

• Consistent part-time (2–3 fixed days/week) considered

• Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch

• Ideal schedule: Tuesday–Saturday

• Flexible scheduling available (Monday–Friday, Sunday–Thursday, or other consistent combinations)

👁 Patient Load

• Approximately 10–15 patients per day

• Up to 18 patients on busier days

• Primarily comprehensive eye exams

🧠 Practice & Technology

• Single-doctor practice with the freedom to manage your own schedule and patient flow

• Highly automated pre-testing with seamless EMR and phoropter integration

• Streamlined workflow with minimal manual data entry

• Dry eye treatments (OptiLight / OptiPlus) available, with training provided for interested ODs

💰 Compensation

• $600/day base pay

• +$50/day when seeing 15+ patients

• Typical earnings of $650–$700+ per day

• Additional incentives:

  • $10 per retinal imaging exam

  • $50 per OptiLight / OptiPlus treatment

• Open to 1099 or W-2

• Benefits may be available after a stable employment period

✅ Ideal Candidate

• Active California Optometry License

• Interested in a long-term opportunity (1–3+ years preferred)

• Interest in dry eye or aesthetics is a plus, but not required
